thefashion-court Kristen Stewart made her debut appearance at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival premiere this morning with a press conference and photocall for “On The Road”; the Walter Salles-directed film based off the semi-autobiographical novel by Jack Kerouac. The 22-year-old actress posed with costars Kirsten Dunst, Garrett Hedlund, Viggo Mortensen and Sam Riley and directer Walter Salles wearing a white tank top under a black Rebecca Minkoff “Becky” blazer partnered with a cool pair of Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière yellow and turquoise Feuillages Mouchetes slim pants. Kristen is the face of the latest fragrance for the fashion brand, so I was totally expecting her to rock some of it at Cannes. I’m glad to see it was these pants as they’ve been a longtime favorite of mine. It’s also nice to see Kristen embrace the print trousers trend in such a big way. You may remember Kristen wearing the blouse version of these pants to Paris Fashion Week back in March. Kristen finished off today’s look with a pair of black Balenciaga pumps, matching Persol sunglasses and a chic Cartier “Juste Un Clou” silver nail bracelet. What a good looking group of people in front of a gorgeous French Riviera back drop. In just a few hours Kristen will reunite with her costars for the red carpet premiere at Palais des Festivals. I can’t wait to see what she wears!
