Fashion of The Day - Kristen Stewart in Balenciaga | Paris Fashion Week: Balenciaga Dinner
TheFashion-Court After a successful sunny-side-up fashion moment while front row at the Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière Spring/Summer 2013 Womenswear presentation on Thursday morning, held during Paris Fashion Week, Kristen Stewart switched up her look for a swanky private dinner for the brand that night.
The 22-year-old face of the Florabotanica fragrance donned some in-your-face threads when she was spotted arriving at the La Fidélité restaurant wearing a slim-fitting peach-and-black striped top and matching solid high-waist shorts.
Both pieces are non-presented looks from the Resort 2013 collection.
For a girl who is often harshly judged for wearing old jeans and threadbare t-shirts on her off duty days, Kristen is certainly fashion forward when she dresses up. You have to be pretty fearless and fashionably rebellious to rock a bold look like this and pull it off — and there’s no doubt in my mind that she did exactly that.
Kristen topped the look off with her signature smoky eyes and wavy mane, her favorite white gold Cartier “Juste Un Clou” nail bracelet, a silver watch and a cute pair of black buckled stack-heel loafers from the Balenciaga Spring 2013 Capsule collection.

Fashion of The Day - Kristen in Balenciaga | Paris Fashion Week: Spring 2013
TheFashion-Court To say social media was ‘buzzing’ bright and early today over Kristen Stewart sitting front row at the Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière Spring 2013 fashion show would be a great understatement. In fact, the “Breaking Dawn” actress quickly became a trending topic on Twitter before the models were even off the catwalk!
For her second appearance at a presentation for the fashion house (she was present for Fall 2012 back in March), the face of the “Florabotanica” fragrance brought some ‘flower power’ to Paris Fashion Week when she arrived wearing a pair of black ankle-zip pants with all-over chalky white bold stenciled floral prints.
Kristen partnered her fierce trousers with a black silk camisole before playing with contrast color and layering on a lemon leather “New Biker” jacket with quilted sleeves. This is the updated version of the black jacket we often catch the 22-year-old rocking.
During the show, Kristen sat next to Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue, after mingling with actress Salma Hayek.
Everything Kristen wore was from the Spring/Summer 2013 “Capsule” collection, with the exception of her Fall 2011 “Poulaine” flat black leather boots that feature asymmetric zips and double buckle detail.
This look was topped off with her signature tousled waves, light smoky eyes and a petal-pink pout.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Kristen’s effortless feminine edge makes her the perfect match for Ghesquière’s designs.

Fashion of The Day - Airport Style: Kristen Stewart in AllSaints & A.L.C.
TheFashion-Court Kristen Stewart was spotted at the airport earlier this month — after several weeks of keeping a low profile, while she made her way to Toronto, Canada to celebrate the premiere of her movie “On The Road” during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. Not only was the 22-year-old actress back in true red carpet form, her casual style is still in tip-top, cool and relaxed shape!
As she was quickly escorted through the Toronto airport on September 5th, Kristen stayed comfy in a white loose t-shirt and her favorite 7 For All Mankind Second Skin Skinny Jeans in Rinsed Indigo ($154, 7forallmankind.com) that she cuffed to the calf to show a little skin between her boots! That’s right, Kristen passed on her staple sneakers in favorite of a pair of Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière black leather “Poulaine” low boots (sold out) with double buckle detail.
You may remember her rocking these in NYC back in May!
If her boots weren’t enough to draw your attention — the jacket was. Several weeks ago I gushed on Twitter about the new AllSaints Fall 2012 collection, especially their two-tone quilted sleeve “Rixey” leather jacket. I should have known that Kristen would be the first person to snatch it up, because it’s too cute not to love.
The “Rixey” bomber ($650, allsaints.com) is inspired by the classic baseball style but features biker sleeves. It’s made of soft washed Italian leather with contrast lamb skins. The black base gives way to oxblood sleeves with zips at the cuffs.
A fall “must-have”, for sure.
With her auburn tresses looking way too nice after a few hours of traveling, Kristen topped off her look with some oversize optical “Sheldrake” glasses by Oliver Peoples in Matte Syacamore ($340, oliverpeoples.com). I’m digging that Daria look. She’s been seen wearing these once before with the sun lens attachment ($165, barneys.com).
After a few days of press following the TIFF premiere, Kristen jetted out of Canada for a private screening for the movie in New York. This time around K.Stew was more prepared for the late summer weather, and although she carried her go-to Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière quilted biker jacket, she bared arm in a thin white cropped Juicy Couture Basic Layering Racerback Tank (sold out, juicycouture.com). This top has been many places with her this year, including an interview in Paris and the Cannes Film Festival press conference for the Walter Salles-directed film.
Kristen partnered the tee with the low-slung A.L.C. cuffed “Jude” trousers ($416, shopbop.com) she ended up wearing to the screening. I just love that faux-folded white contrast waistband!
Keeping up with the monochrome off-duty theme, Kristen accessorized with a Baltimore Orioles backwards cap ($24, lids.com), worn-in white Converse Chuck Taylor All Star hi top sneakers ($55, converse.com) and another pair of Oliver Peoples glasses. This time, the “Parsons” opticals ($340, oliverpeoples.com) that she had sun lens put in.
Kristen’s Cartier “Juste Un Clou” white gold nail bracelet ($6,250, cartier.com) and vintage necklace stayed in place at all times.

Fashion of The Day - Blue Jean Way: Robert Pattinson Totally Loves … American Eagle Skinny Jeans!
TheFashion-Court Considering Robert Pattinson is such a down to Earth guy, one shouldn’t be too surprised that, despite the uber-success of the “Twilight” movies (as well as his other films), he’ll still pass on the high designer luggage, array of leather jackets, “label” t-shirts and expensive “murses” that you’ll often find on some Hollywood heartthrobs.
When he’s off the red carpet, Rob keeps it chill and will stick by clothing he finds comfortable or convenient — which usually involves a vintage t-shirt, worn-in jeans and sneakers. Lately the handsome British actor has been repeating his latest favorite part of his daily uniform -- American Eagle Outfitters skinny jeans!
The 26-year-old actor was first spotted wearing the rugged slim cotton jeans in Medium 3D Whisker ($39.95, ae.com) while leaving LA’s Hotel Cafe after a friends concert back in July. Rob paired his denim with a vintage t-shirt and light grey short sleeve button-front shirt that he just had closed at the top.
He topped off this low-key ensemble with a black backwards Stussy “Laguna Patch” snapback cap ($28, stussy.com) and brightVans “Old Skool LX” sneakers in Vermillion Orange/True Royal/White ($60, kateskates.co.uk).
Rob packed up his blue jean babies and took them on his New York City trip to promote “Cosmopolis” in August. He was seen leaving his hotel wearing them along with a black hoodie, another vintage tee (surprise, surprise), his solid black V-FlexFit cotton twill cap ($26, flexfit.com) and pair of distressed “Pampa” work boots by Palladium ($110, palladiumboots.com).

Fashion of The Day - Kristen Stewart
Kristen. Girl. YES.
After completely dazzling us on the red carpet last week at TIFF wearing a couture cocktail dress, Kristen Stewart stepped out for a private screening of “On The Road”, held at Disney Park Avenue in New York City tonight, rocking a three-piece edgy ensemble that embodied her personal style to a level that is so on point … I don’t know how to not gush over this.The 22-year-old actress must have been enjoying our breezy early fall weather, because she wore a slinky dark grey tank top underneath a white oversize Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière button-down shirt that she partially tucked into the sides of her fly menswear-inspired slouchy A.L.C. “Jude” cropped wool-twill trousers.
These Fall 2012 pants feature a white silk stripe contrast waistband, which gives the illusion of folding the top of her pants over.
Laid back. Edgy. Casual chic.
I was looking at her thinking ‘this is totally something Gwen Stefani would wear’. Low-and-behold, the No Doubt singer has also worn these trousers before — and it isn’t the first time the two have shared an article of clothing in common.
Remember this? I think they should go shopping together now. Obviously.
As if the outfit wasn’t cool enough, Kristen topped it off with sexy pair of black patent t-strap cutout “Taste” sandals by Jimmy Choo with clear plastic multiple illusion straps traveling up the sides. The ultimate #ShoeEnvy.

Her hairstylist gave her a wicked pompadour gathered-and-twisted half-up ‘do, while her ‘rock-n-roll’ inspired make-up included a nude lip and intense smoky eyes. She finished off with her favorite Cartier jewelry; a vintage pendant necklace and a platinum “Juste Un Clou” nail-head bracelet, and a mani-pedi lacquered in Chanel “Frenzy” polish.
Kristen was totally in her comfort zone here — and it shows.
I hope to see a lot more of this in the future when she promotes “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2″ this fall.

Fashion of the Day - Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart
I know a lot of you tuned into the MTV Video Music Awards strictly to see Robert Pattinson and his “Twilight” gang introduce the final trailer for the upcoming “Breaking Dawn: Part 2″ film, so there is no way I was going to deprive you from getting the scoop on Mr. Pattinson’s wardrobe.
You’re totally interested, right? Right.
If you checked out my VMAs Wish List, then you know I included a look from Alexander McQueen and a separate black bomber jacket selection for him. I’d like to think Robert took those suggestions and did one better… he wore an Alexander McQueenbomber jacket with leather sleeves!
Oh, Rob.
I’m sensing a trend you guys! This boy loves wearing blue and black lately, so color me not surprised that he partnered his really-freaking-cool cashmere leather McQueen jacket with a white tee, a black button-down shirt and a pair of navy denim trousers.
Kristen Stewart made her long-awaited return to the red carpet tonight with the North American premiere of her movie “On The Road”, held during the kick-off of the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.
Although, there really wasn’t any actual red carpet in sight.
The 22-year-old arrived at the Ryerson Theatre looking fantastic — and totally having an “OMG!” moment — in a beautiful Zuhair Murad haute-couture dress, from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Kristen’s long-sleeved black lace cocktail dress featured hand-beaded floral embroidery in bold shades of red, aqua, pink and blue.
This was a rather surprising choice for Miss Stewart as we normally don’t see her in such feminine patterns, let alone floral embroidery. I think she looked very mature — elegant, yet relaxed. I feel like the sheer elements and daring black lace still played off of her edgy personal style, so while it was something new — it was very true to “her” look.
Another first for Kristen was her super straight hair style! She had her auburn locks partially gathered into a half-up/half-down look, which I’m totally digging. So, if you expected to see her signature tousled waves or a twisted up ‘do — boy, were you wrong.
Kristen kept her jewelry light, sticking with her personal “tokens” — a gold ring and her vintage Cartier pendant necklace.
She put the finishing touches on her look with hot pink lips, a nude manicure (she used the “Frenzy” polish by Chanel!) and pair of go-to classic black patent “Anouk” pointed toe pumps by Jimmy Choo.

Fashion of The Day - Robert Pattinson
Robert Pattinson brought promotion for his new movie “Cosmopolis” to the West Coast last night when he sat down to chat about the David Cronenberg-directed film, which is out now in limited theaters, on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”. Before getting into the nitty-gritty of the film, the 26-year-old English actor talked about his habit of purchasing things, like his cars, through Craigslist.
Continuing his love affair of blue-and-black threads, Rob was back in the same navy KENZO button-down shirt that he wore for an appearance last week. This time around, he paired the Fall/Winter 2012 shirt with a classic two-button notched lapel black sport jacket by Band of Outsiders.
Rob kept the look on the casual side by leaving the last few buttons of his shirt undone to reveal his white tee underneath. He partnered his layered tops with a pair of low-slung American Eagle ‘Skinny’ rugged cotton jeans in “Medium 3D Whisker”.
With just enough scruff on his devilishly handsome mug and his shiny locks brushed back to perfection, Rob completed this look with quite possibly the most eye-catching detail of all… his footwear. Yup, he ‘put on his blue suede shoes’!
Rob was rocking a fierce-yet-sophisticated pair of indigo suede Vans OTW “Pritchard” lace up shoes.
Because no accessory goes left unnoticed, I should mention that he arrived wearing his new favorite pair of vintage-inspired Paul Smith “Churchill” sunglasses.
