When you are talking about Kristen Stewart, it seems impossible to keep up with the swirling controversy about her personal life. I spoke with the actress shortly before those now-infamous pictures were bandied about-I have no late-breaking gossip. In fact, I'm going to steer clear of that altogether to avoid Twihard death threats and Twitter rumours.
Here is what I will say... Stewart drops a revealing clue about herself before we have even formally introduced ourselves. "Hi, Kat? It's Kristen," she says, her unmistakable monotone pinging through cell towers from where she is in Paris to the phone in my hand. That's the clue. Because that's not how this generally goes.

Normally, a publicist calls to see if you're ready to speak to "Ms. Stewart," or any other person famous enough to make it seem rude to initially call them by their first name (even though they're invariably younger than you). Then the publicist connects you to the assistant, who then (and I have no proof but have often pictured it this way) holds the phone to the celeb's ear for the duration of the chat.

It seems that, at 22, Stewart is bringing dialing back. But as the sun sets on Twilight, we chat about her role as the face of Balenciaga's new fragrance, Florabotanica, high-school bullies, pies and learning not to care about interviews.

He could have a huge ego.  British actor Robert Pattnson is one of the  highest paid in Hollywood - just in the last year, he earned $26,5M  according to Forbes. The blue eyed guy has a legion of  rabid fans, that follow him everywhere, and to add to that, he has been  getting offers from acclaimed filmmakers. An example is the Canadian  David Cronenberg, that directed him in Cosmopolis - the movie was  in competition for the Palm D'Or in Cannes and will be released in  Brazil in August. In person, however, Pattinson surprises for his  humility and sense of humor. "All of a sudden, I left a ridiculous  £500 paycheck and became a Hollywood star. And all of that happened  without me proving anything." jokes the actor, that became famous all over the world with the Twilight saga, which started in 2008 and has made since then $2.5 billions.

Even  after beating more that 3000 candidates for the part of the vampire  Edward Cullen, Pattinson is the first to admit that the character never "demanded much effort". "The screenwriters did the best they could, but there isn't a lot to do when the guy never changes" says the actor, a lot more excited about what the movies brought to his life than making them. "I know that I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Twilight. But from now on I want to overcome my insecurities as an actor, even if it means to take risks and make mistakes."  Via

The gorgeous Kristen Stewart is gracing the June cover of Elle Magazine, and she looks flawless, per usual! Sporting a black sequin dress with transparent slits across the torso, the 22 year old Snow White and The Huntsman star kept her hair and makeup simple, but rocked a signature smoky eye. Another photo of K-Stew from inside the magazine shows her playing two different roles, side by side. One side shows her channeling inner-tom-boy, wearing a suit, suspenders, and tie, as she holds hands and totally checks out the glammed up K-Stew, wearing boots, tight leather skirt, and crop top bustier! Now inside the magazine, there's a great interview with Kristen, where she addresses everyone's favorite question: IS SHE, OR ISN'T SHE DATING ROB PATTINSON!? Kristen tells Elle, "Everyone wants to know. Everyone knows already. It's ridiculous." I mean, I gotta side with Kristen on this one—we've all known for a while that she and Rob are the real deal, and she's even admitted it before in the past. Remember when she told GQ she was excited to shoot Snow White in England and explore the country "because my boyfriend is English?" and then said, "Come on guys, it's so obvious!" Anyhow, it's Kristen's quiet demeanor that has her costar Charlize Theron so impressed. She told Elle, "That's what I like about Kristen. All that fame and spotlight stuff is not her life. Her privacy is not going to be up for grabs. But man, because of that, she's going to be okay. She's one of the few who will have a very long, steady, amazing career." ELLEUK At long last... take a look at Kristen Stewart on the cover of ELLE.Since the day we revealed that Stewart would star on the cover of our June issue, through the well-documented shoot in Los Angeles and all the hints sprinkled along the way, you’ve been so patient with us. Thanks for that.

The long wait is over. Feast your eyes on our June 2012 cover. Note the spring-ready Jil Sander ensemble, the sleek ‘60s-inspired hair, the ice-blue gaze... it’s totally Kristen, right?

The June issue marks Stewart’s second time as ELLE cover star.  Since appearing on the July 2010 cover, the actress has risen to new heights of acclaim and adulation. 

The issue hits newsstands on Wednesday 2 May. Before then, we’ll release an exclusive trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman. The behind-the-scenes video features an interview with Stewart, so follow us on Twitter @ELLEUK to make sure you’re the first to hear about it.
