And Morgan admits it took a little while to get to know Stewart and Mortensen. “They weren’t being distant, I was a bit starstruck. But we went out quite a bit to bars and Kristen would come along. She might have security but most of the time people were cool.”

“At airports, there would be thousands of people screaming ‘Kristen’ and going mental. It must be tough. I don’t envy it. I was very impressed by how well she handles it at such a young age.”

Breaking Dawn part 2 Spoof in Mad Magazine - October 2012

AccessHollywood    LOS ANGELES, CALIF. -- Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart are just weeks away from the debut of the final installment of “The Twilight Saga,” but first they’re getting the MAD Magazine treatment – and AccessHollywood.com has your exclusive sneak peek!

The on and newly-rekindled-off-screen duo – along with the magazine’s Alfred E. Neuman appearing as their onscreen vampire daughter Renesmee – has landed on the December 2012 cover of the humor mag.

MAD Magazine Editor in Chief John Ficarra said the “Breaking Dawn” stars were “unavailable” to pose for the cover for variety of reasons.

“We tried to get celebrity help with this cover, but of the three, the werewolf was the only one that was approachable,” he joked in a statement to Access Hollywood. “We really wanted to get Robert Pattinson involved, but didn’t have the budget for an eyebrow wrangler.”

Adding, “We were all set up to work with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, but they had to cancel because it conflicted with their weekly Brooding Lesson.”

Check out the issue, due out on October 23, which will spoof all five of “The Twilight Saga” movies.

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” hits theaters on November 16, 2012, but first Robert and Kristen are scheduled to appear together – along with the rest of the cast – to promote the movie in a variety of media appearances in Los Angeles.

“Breaking Dawn – Part 2” will have its worldwide premiere on November 12 at the Nokia Theater at LA LIVE.

It's tough to be unaware of the magnitude of this franchise, were you a fan coming in ?
I had definitely tapped into my inner tween and seen all the movies. And I like looking at Rob Pattinson, don't judge me. Let's be serious, any actor honestly hopes to be a part of a giant franchise. To be in the zeitgeist like that is amazing ... but in reality, it's kind of hard to fathom. I was at The Grove when I found out, and caused quite a scene jumping up and down.

“People were so nice. I met friends that I will keep forever,” Toni, who already knew Jackson Rathbone from school, told Access. “Michael Sheen, [who plays Volturi vampire Aro], is number one in my book. And I know that we will be friends forever.”

Toni told Access she was happy to see the devoted “Twilight” fans stand by the stars of the movie despite the barrage of recent headlines that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have made in the past few months.

“Everybody reacted with a whole lot of love, which really sort of embodies what ‘The Twilight Saga’ is. They are not a pretentious group… I think [the recent headlines don’t] matter. They still have the love for this book, these characters, these actors, and I think that [the film] is going to be unaffected by anything else,” she said.

And when it comes to eternal “Twilight” question – Team Edward or Team Jacob? – Toni said she’s split down the middle.

“Mary would say, ‘I don’t give a sh**,’ or she would say, ‘Team Edward,’ because of the vampires, clearly. But Team Trucks would say, ‘Team Jacob,’ because [Taylor Lautner] is from Michigan and I’m from Michigan and I always support all things in Michigan!” she explained to Access.

 When did you discovered On The Road?
I read it when I was 17. I made a search on the web and I saw that Francis Ford Coppola was working on the movie. I’ll never make it, I said to myself. OTR is not a book on the Beat Generation: it’s about young people, hungry for freedom, that are seeking their path in life. I was so affected that I began to write, in a spontaneous way, following the current … luckily, when the project started with Salles, I was on board!
But it took three years before the project started…
Meanwhile I carefully documented myself. I talked to all of those who knew Neal Cassady, I saw the archival material …
A nerd approach.
In fact… but I worked hard for Country Strong as well, learning to play the guitar.

Did you feel some embarrassment shooting sex scenes with Kristen Stewart?
We felt strangely at ease… We were into our characters, we let ourselves go. Into the room there were just me, Kristen and Walter: “Let her slide her hand on her back, do this, do that.

Once, we arrived in this little airport and I walked out first, and there were two little old dudes with cameras, and I thought, “F*ckin’ ’ell, it must be slim pickings being a paparazzi here. This is their payday!” They were taking photos of me, and I could see out the corner of my eye Kristen going out the door, into the car and f*cking off. One of them came up to me with a piece of paper, and went [in poor Argentinian accent], “Christian Stewart?” and I went, “No [points at his name], I’m this one, that one’s just walked off!”

Any other incidents?
Some kids found out where the hotel was. They were crossing a river to stand outside the window, and when I opened the curtains, they were like,”Kristy! Kristy!” all night. It was mental. And when we got back to the airport, her bodyguard said, “We’re going to put the producers in the car they think is her car, and drop them off…” And we had to run through the airport, and I saw how aggressive some of these photographers can be. It’s a strange job to chase a 20-year-old girl around…

Is she used to the attention?
She deals with it well. I’d have a caution for thumping them by now if they followed me around like that.

Riley: It always is, for me, anyway. Everyone always says, "Yes, I am free, I like to show my bare my soul and blah, blah, blah", but at the time, it does not come through with most people. Unsurprisingly, Salles has assembled a fantastic cast for the project from Viggo Mortensen playing a morphine-muddled Old Bull Lee (based on Burroughs) with Amy Adams as his Benzedrine-befuddled wife, Jane, to Kirsten Dunst as Camille, one of Dean’s partners and the mother of his children. Of course, much attention has been focused on Kristen Stewart, not least because until promoting On the Road, she’s hardly been seen. For his part, Riley is full of praise for Stewart’s performance.

“Kristen was hired before Twilight I think but it took that long for this film to come to fruition. Before that she’d worked with Jodie Foster, Sean Penn had chosen her, a lot of people with a lot of knowledge of the business had hired her for the actress she is.

With Garrett [Hedlund] as well, the system at the studio tends to mean only certain types of film are made, which then pigeonholes actors as eye-candy. But it’s not true. They [Stewart and Hedlund] don’t have anything to prove to their colleagues but they have something to prove to elements of the media or the industry that pigeonholes them. I think Kristen is great in the film.”

IndieLondon  Prior to being in Snow White I never got so much as a second glance from them but as soon as I was in a film with Kristen Stewart, all of a sudden I was getting calls. I got married last week and all my cousins are around the 12-13 mark and you could see how I’ve changed in their eyes. Now, all of a sudden they’re asking me about my work and asking if I can get Kristen’s autograph!

Q. You’ve mentioned how helpful Kristen was on the set, even appearing in scenes with you when she wasn’t required?

Yeah, the scene in particular was the funeral scene when I had to sing. And it only got confirmed on the morning that I’d be singing on my own because of the technicality of getting us all to do it. In moments like that, when the camera is focused on you, you tend to find other actors disappear but they remained standing in. It kind of tells you a lot about the feeling in general on the set. So, when I looked around Kristen was there, and Chris [Hemsworth], and Ray and Bob were stood either side of me. I’ll never forget that moment. It was an emotional moment in the film, we were all crying a bit, and when I looked up Kristen was also crying and the camera was not even on her. So, I was tremendously grateful to her for that.
